Local Location Guide:Here are some of my favorite local spots for sessions! Keep in mind that no matter the location, golden hour (usually around 7 PM or so) is typically the best time for soft, crisp lighting. Early morning light is beautiful as well!
Downtown Brentwood:
Creekside Park, Brentwood:
Creekside park offers this bridge as a cute back ground for your photos. Aside from the bridge, there are also lots of tree’s in the area with a cute walk way. Photos look best during Golden hour/evening or early morning.
At the heart of Brentwood is their cute downtown. From their mini Rose Garden (in bloom only in certain times of the year), or their lovely Gazebo, or walking the arches in front of their community center. There’s a variety of hotspots for photo backgrounds in close walking distances of each other!
Contra Loma Regional Park, Antioch
Contra Loma Park is one of my favorite spots to shoot photos as it’s a very big park with many different options to choose from. From waterside, to open fields, to a cute bridge and lovely trees. Peak lighting is around Golden Hour time (Around 7pm) or early mornings (around 8am).
Round Valley Regional Preserve:
On the outskirts of Brentwood, Round Valley is a classic spot with hiking/trails/ picnic tables. Leaving a lovely place for photo sessions with options for open fields and a lovely nature background.
